Subject: claiming things in your life |
Bible Note: Trust me they are not to Christian children starving those that are starving don't belong to God. You have been sold and evidently have bought into the lie. It is easily sold here in America because we have so much but I assure you there are many good and faithful Christians that do starve. It sickens me to think people are so oblivious to the scripture, to the truth and to the world around them that they buy into this lie. Birds starve to death also in the winter when they are not able to get food. The verse you quote does not say we will not starve but not to concern ourselves with our physical condition worry about our spiritual condition. You my friend have done just the opposite you try to equate your physical condition as a reflection of your spiritual. Possibly instead of driving a Lexus you should be feeding children. The word says if you have two coats and your brother has none give him your coat. It seems to me you have two coats (Lexus) and should be giving it (money used to pay for your status symbol) to those that have none (people that are going hungry). Don’t try to convince us that the “name it claim it” teaching works by how much you have. If you want to impress us tell us about how much you have given away. This is a perfect example of that that teaching fosters. People that lay up treasure in this world. People that view monetary blessing as a sign from God spiritual blessings. People that are so spoiled they blind themselves to the truth of what is happening around them. People that ignore the fact every notable Christian from the time of Christ until now has lived a life of self sacrifice. We are called to serve not “lord” our wealth over the world and say look at me. EdB |
