Bible Note: Praise Be To God I don't think anyone is denying divine healing. What is being denied is that we through our words speak things into existence. Words are powerful but only God has the power to speak things into existence. Now we can psychologically bring things into existence in our bodies but no amount of positive confession will stop the sun from moving. Unless God deems the sun will stop I assure you the sun will continue until Jesus' return. As for your healing, praise God your healed. However I assure you had God had another purpose for you to be afflicted you would still be afflicted. That is the point everyone is missing God’s word says all things are for the good of those that love the Lord and are called to his purpose. We have to trust in God no matter if we are sick or whole, rich or poor, on the way up or on the way down (as in success). As for resurrections let me ask you two questions, if you were dead and on your way to heaven would you want anyone to bring you back? If God calls someone home do you really believe we can over rule God and call them back? Does a resurrection of a dead person prove we can speak things into existence or does it prove God sometimes displays his power in awesome ways? There have been a lot of dead people prayed for that are still dead. EdB |
