Zach, I do not believe it is scripturally quite accurate to say that we send ourselves to hell, no more than to say that the criminal who stands before a judge sentences himself to prison. It is, after all,the judge who passes sentence. Even if it were true that we buy our own ticket on the train to hell, God is still the conductor of the train. --Hank | ||||||

I am a new comer to this post and I would like for you to count out the three nights that Jesus spent in the heart of the Earth. I can go along with the three day because to the Jews any part of a day is considered a whole day, but I can't figure out the night part at all; unless the ref. to the time spent in the Earth wasn't supposed to be the emphasis but something that is obscure but similar to what Jonah did.
