Subject: do we have any free will? |
Bible Note: Dino Okay disagree but reread psalm 22, then think about what Jesus did and said, and what happened next. Then find in the scriptures where is says just When we need God the most is when God deserts us. Then think about the trinity Jesus and God as one, then think about how hard it is to separate yourself from yourself. Then ask yourself if Jesus had had so little divinity that He questioned what God was doing. Dino I think your study will take you to a point that clearly says man got it wrong and just because it is repeated over and over that doesn't make it right. Jesus was in total control of the situation (he was God) and in control he took this last opportunity to soften the hearts of the Jew. Many feel it was Peter's great preaching on the day of Pentecost that brought 5000 to the Lord I believe it was the message Jesus preached on the cross right before he died that brought those in. Of course Peter may have reminded them just once more they had in fact crucified Christ :-) EdB |
