Subject: What is Free Will? |
Bible Note: Oh, I am not offended! You have every right to disagree with me and Spurgeon and Jonathan Edwards and John Piper and John Calvin and John Knox and R.C. Sproul and Augustine and everyone else who shares my view. I merely wanted to point out that one's disagreement with certain points of A.W. Tozer's theology does not make one a rabid, raving heretic. I just think you were a little hasty in lunging at Lionstrong for criticizing the teachings of one of your favorite writers and preachers. We are not talking about someone attacking 1 Corinthians or anything like that! Since at least the 1600s we have had two camps within Protestantism on the issues of election and effectual calling. There are scholars to this day who stand on either side of this issue, and everyone is going to disagree with someone that another person holds as a well-reasoned individual. --Joe! |
