God will never send anyone to hell. We send ourselves. It is a choice we make when we refuse to accept God's free gift of salvation.

I fully agree with you. Lets not get technical here. The bible says (Matthew 18:3) Verily I say to you, Unless ye are converted and become as little children, ye will not at all enter into the kingdom of the heavens. It only took a boy David to kill golliath. Foolish things to confound the wise Jesus is simple to understand plus he gives us the holy spirit to reveal his word to us. Lets look at this logically... 1. Satan was the first to sin. 2. Sin is not allowed in heaven and thus hell was created for all things sinfull, which at the time was just Satan and the fallen angels. 2. In 2 Peter 3:9 God tells us "...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" 3. Let me tell you Gods blue print for EVERY MAN ends in heaven, he want us all to repent. Its his WILL. 4. If God is the Judge and Satan is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10). It's satans job to proove to God that sin exists in us, to try and get us into hell. But God so loved the world that he sent Jesus to die in our place and so his blood could wash our sins away and thus we will stand in righteousness given to us as a free gift. 5.God can't go against his word the only way he can save you is by substitution, dying in your place and takeing your sins on himself and going to hell in your place. 6.The choice is yours to accept Jesus or not. He can't change his law (word), now what do you want to do? |

Dino Bencini, perhaps you would favor the forum with Scripture to support your statement that God goes to hell in our place. --Hank

JESUS went to hell in our place, he had to pay the FULL price for our sin. When he died on the cross he took our sin apoun himself. Listen its way past my bed time you can get the scriptures for this at the following web site... http://www.soonet.ca/users/stickman/hellno.html |

That web site is the biggest bunch of junk I have seen in a long time. First what makes you think Satan is in hell? Secondly think about it if Jesus is God and God is Spirit and Jesus died spiritually wouldn't God be dead? No my friend the web site might sound good but it misses the Biblical truth by a mile. 2 Tim. 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, [4] and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. Ebd, You better believe Jesus went to hell in your place else my friend guess where you going. God and Jesus and Holy spirit are the trinity. I am an eathly father I have a son, we are human. If my son dies, do I die? God had to be around to raise Jesus from the dead on the 3rd day. |

Dino Yea right and he wrestled Satan and won all the while the demons were torturing him etc. etc. etc. Baloney! I tell you Satan never laid a hand on God! No demon in heaven or hell would dare touch God! Satan is not in hell, he roams earth seeking those to destroy! Jesus went to Abraham's bosom to lead captivity captive! He paid for our sins by the shedding of his blood and death on the cross. It wasn't by being tortured in hell. You better rethink you Trinity philosophy because you just created three gods. Jesus clearly said the Father and I are one. One can not be seperated from itself. The Word says Jesus as part of the Godhead overcame death. Again why do you think Satan is in hell? Last and not least I know where I'm going I was bought for a price, the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ, I'm no longer my own but His! EdB |

Please feel free to quote it. Because ok I did randomly choose it from a search engine, and since then I have been back to check it out and did not find where Jesus had a wreslting match with Satan. I think you looked at it in a very bias way and read into it exaclty what you wanted. Listen there's no need to be rude refering to "crummy" as christians we should help each other not joke about each others weaknesses. If you think i'm decieved then your goal should be to help me because I'll be the first to admit it, if I'm wrong, this isn't some big compition, I have already taken your views to people who I regard as being very much in tune with Gods heart beat. When they get back to me I'll let you know what they say. The bible does talk about proving somthing useing 2 or 3 witnesses so I want to see if I am mis-understanding this whole thing or not. You are not my enemy. |

Dino I think your the one that said or inferred I was on my way to hell. That might appear adversarial to some :-) EdB |

Ok I do appologise sometime we get caught up in an arguement instead of keeping our eyes on Jesus. The only way to get into heaven is to believe and confess as in Romans 10:9 - "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among [the] dead, thou shalt be saved." So if you've adheared to this then our arguement about hell and spiritual death is meaningless. |

Dino I agree most everything discussed on this forum becomes meaningless in the light of eternity :-) Your also right it matters little how we view this phrase Jesus spoke from the cross as long as we both agree Jesus died for our sins. Without which there would be no remission for sin, but because of the cross we are wash of our sins and able to cry out Abba, Father! See you in heaven Your brother in Christ EdB |
