Bible Note: Greetings Emmaus! We have chatted for awhile! It's good to hear from you brother! The definition I had learned was that baptism is: "An outward sign of an inward grace." Of course, the difference in our traditions is that mine does not believe that baptism brings grace, but reflects the grace already wrought through faith. Concerning works though, I would classify anything that someone has to 'do' in order to receive salvation as a 'work', which Eph. 2:8-9 specifically denies can save us. Well, I've got to get to bed!
