Bible Question (short): Hebrew Scholar needed! |
Question (full): Gen 1:24-25 describes the creation of animals. In Gen 2:18, the Lord states that it is not good for the man to be alone, and verse 19 follows this by saying (so)"Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name." It would appear that there are TWO creative events for animals. My inclination is that the creation of the animals of Gen 1:24-25 is simply restated in verse 19 and not a separate account.
