Subject: Is God's will prosperity/healing always? |
Bible Note: gracefull, For many years, a certain part of the Body of Christ has been taught that faith is a powerful force. Faith can heal sicknesses, receive answers to prayer, and work miracles. For example, one popular verse for teaching this aspect of faith is Mark 11:23: "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him." Also, in Matthew 21:21 we read, "And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen." Notice that you will be able to do this "if you have faith and do not doubt." Apparently, faith has an inseparable connection with the release of God's power. If you have faith, you will be able to release the power of God in your life and in the life of others. Bible teachings that focus on this aspect of faith show Christians how to release healing, prosperity, and deliverance into their lives. Consequently, the entire Body of Christ is strengthened and made more effective. |
