Bible Note: gracefull. This verse is my stance; "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom, but in the POWER of God. 1Cor.2:5 (KJV) The first "whatsoever" God wants me to know in Phil. 4:8 is what is "true". And if I'm going to know what is "true" I need to find out for myself, because there has been some lies told, even in the church. Phil. 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.(KJV) Romans 12:2 says for me not to be conformed to this world: but for me to be tranfromed by the renewing of my mind. And the reason for me to do this is so that I may prove what is that good, and acceptabe, and perfect, "will of God". Yes, Jesus came to set us free, to know the truth! God bless |
