Subject: What are the "works of God"? |
Bible Note: Emmaus: Truly it was not my intention to bash the Roman Catholic Church. And if I have done so, then I apologize to you and to anyone else whom I may have offended. I honestly believed that the Church did teach and promote a system of works-righteousness because this is what I have been taught. It is quite possible that I am mistaken in my understanding. I am certainly not an authority on Roman Catholic doctrine. Thank you for the information you posted. I will have to do further research into this subject. Until I do so, I will remain silent on this issue as regards the Catholic Church. I do not wish to falsely accuse any person or institution. You have always been reasonable and gracious in presenting the doctrines of the Catholic Church. For this I am grateful. I only wish that others who posted here were as reasonable and accurate in what they post as you are. Grace to you, kalos |
