Subject: What if you don't obey that command? |
Bible Note: It is a good thing that you are not an attorney attempting to prosecute a case in a court of law. Judges tend to enforce the principle that in order to try a case, you need a little thing called EVIDENCE. You have no evidence to make the generalization: "no one waited more than two-or-three hours without being baptized into Christ." You are baptized into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit the moment you are born again -- by the Holy Spirit, NOT by water. 1 Cor. 12:13 (ESV) For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body— Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. AMPLIFIED 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit. |
