Bible Note: Yes, you are probably right, however, there are also many people, still being baptized, this same hour, in this century. The point my friend is that even if a person waits days, weeks, months or years, they 'are' justified and righteous, because the Father calls them so. Can they still be saved? yes, The Father says yes, in John 3:16. I don't believe I am presenting a compromise here, because it's not for me to judge, whether a person is baptized immediately or sometime in the future. Everyone is responsible for their own salvation, as spoken of in Philippians 2:12. Baptism is an act of obedience, not an threat of seperation. God Bless |
