Bible Question:
May I ask a question... (I guess I may since I'm asking :) ) 'What commandments do we need to obey? Just those which seem right or all of them? Does not a person obtain his reward by obeying ALL His commandments; baptism included?' When you say 'obtain his reward', is that reward salvation? When I say salavation, I mean being born again (born from above). Thanks |
Bible Answer: "Salvation is not a reward..." mbooker: Good questions. Always good to hear from you. The New Living Translation Ephesians 2:8 God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 2:9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Grace to you, kalos |
