Bible Note: Greetings the Bible is Right! The only problem with the verses you used in your last post is that none of them actually use the phrase 'newness of life'. :-) Another point that I forgot to mention before is that the verb 'may walk' is an Aorist, Subjective verb. Thus, it describes possible action, but not necessary action. So, those who have been buried with Christ MAY walk in newness of life. So, this verse can't be saying that baptism saves because the verb used does not indicate that baptism produces new life. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
