Subject: What if you don't obey that command? |
Bible Note: Hello Hank! Excuse me for intruding here, but I would like to know your view of the two verses I have included below. It seems that these two verses are implying that faith is a type of work. I have read several of the messages that you have left in this forum and I perceive that you are a person of great intellect. If anyone can give me a suitable answer, I'm sure you can. You say, "There is absolutely nothing that man can do, no action of any kind that can or does contribute in any way to his salvation" and who can argue with that? After all, it is scriptural. God Bless! Aspilos 1 Thessalonians 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. |
