Bible Question: What if you don't obey that command? |
Bible Answer: "This is love for God: to obey His commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who belives that Jesus is the Son of God." 1 John 5:3-5 (NIV) In the world I never obeyed anyone or anything. And I reaped the benefits of doing so. God speaks to me through His Word, that His commands are not burdensome, and by being obedient I become an overcomer. I already know the what if's, and its consequences, Now I'm "doing" and receiving His blessings. I like what is written in Romans 12:2, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." (NIV) You made that first step, Now go all the way, and come out of that, "what if" and be transformed by the renewing of your mind. God bless |
