AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. Bible Question:
Joe, "Adam an Eve didn;t start out with a corruptible sin nature, but obviously is was a nature that was susceptible to corruption." Was this a typographical error that Adam and Eve didn't start out with a corruptible nature, but obviously it was a nature suspecptible to corruption? That sounds like an oxymoron. How can a thing be not corruptible and at the same time be susceptible to corruption? Did you mean to say they did not start out with a "corrupted" nature? Emmaus |
Bible Answer: I'm not sure where the idea came from that Adam and Eve were not corruptable. I think they were naive, in a sense, by their creation. When the "Serpent" came along he told them how to find sin. "Man" got the idea from Satan, but he gained the understanding of sin through the first act of defiance. He knew that God was perfect and all-knowing, but the new idea of sin enticed him, obviously. Man has no excuse because he has the knowledge of God's perfection and laws, but he still defies Him. |
