AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. Subject: Is God somehow responsible? |
Bible Note: How is it a "stretch" to say that when Paul meant "all" in Romans 3:23, that he didn't implicitly mean "all but Jesus" in this case? All I was trying to demonstrate is that SOMETIMES (not always) the word "all" is qualified by the immediate context or by the context of the whole counsel of God. Is that bad exegesis? If so, please tell me exactly where my reasoning is so "absurd." Thanks, brother! --Joe! |
