Bible Note: John Reformed: Your comment to Tim Moran: "It is interesting how this argument about many and all can be flipped when it defends one's position. Please bring this to the attention of EdB and Hank." In the first place, let not those who live in glass houses cast stones. From day one you have defended your Calvinist views on this forum. You have put down as error and unscriptural any views that differ from your Calvinist views. We all of us are quite well aware of your views, having seen them voiced repeatedly. Not all of us who believe the word of God and profess Christ subscribe to Calvinism or think we need to in order to be His disciples. In the face of pressure exerted by your peers on this forum and by Lockman's expressed position that pushing one's doctrinal agenda excessively is not in the best interests of this forum, you continue to do so. I consider it patently unnecessary and undesirable to suggest in a side-bar remark to another user of this forum that he bring this matter to my attention. I am most confident that Tim has the good sense and judgment to act on his own, and will indeed act on his own as he sees fit, without your having to point out to him that he should bring this matter or any other matter to my attention. If your remark was meant to be humorous or cute, in my estimation it missed the mark and was neither. --Hank |
