Subject: Can one who commits suicide be saved? |
Bible Note: Life can't get to unbearable for a christian but for a sinner I can believe that. I Peter 5:7 says for us to cast all our care upon him, so none of us are mentally or physically strong enough to carry our burdens, yet because Jesus is carrying them we survive. It is true God knows the heart of a human but for the person who commits suicide death is in thier hearts. Look at Judas Iscariot, he betrayed Jesus, was convicted in his heart and could not bear to live any longer. He hung himself. I believe he had a chance to ask for forgiveness and probably did before he killed himself; Do you think he was forgiven? No he wasn't because John 17:12 says that none of the people that GOd gave Jesus was lost(unsaved) but the son of perdition-Judas. So you see Judas was lost meaning there was no forgiveness for him. He wasn't lost because he betrayed Jesus, he was lost because he hung himself. |
