Personal profile for user screen name: newoldstock My wife of 37 years and I are born again Christians. We live in Florida.I started life as a Southern Baptist and was baptised at 13 years old. For most of the last 24 years a United Methodist. A "pew potato" for 10 years and then saved at a Florida Methodist Mens Retreat and on fire for Christ for last 16 years. In the last 16 years I have taught a large adult Sunday School class, 6 Disciple 2- 33 week classes, and the church's Wednesday night bible study for about 7 years. During this time I was also a member of 5 committees and Chair of Pastor/Parrish Relations(A real eye-opener). I recently left the UMC about one year ago after moving my residence to Trinity, FL and joined an indepdent First Christian Church that most closely resembles the Southern Baptist church. My favorite study bible is the NASB Ryrie Study Bible. My favorite commentary is the Believer's Bible Commentary by MacDonald.
