Subject: Can one who commits suicide be saved? |
Bible Note: Forgive me for my lack of revelation. I was just saved then and zealous. Now! Repentance whipes your slate clean. The bible says that if we confess with our mouths the lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God has raised him from the dead that we are saved. Repentance does not mean go through and remember every sin and say i'm sorry. Repentance is a point where you know you have practiced sin and turn away from it knowing that you need Jesus for that. Confession is after repentance and is for the believer that has committed a sin. Not practice sin. Suicide is wrong and brings about judgement. I do not believe that a believer can commit suicide. (if you do your not believing anymore) I'm not talking about saying I believe in Jesus. I'm talking about a person who lives the life everyday. (God knows) He told us that he has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. People who commit suicide have let go of all those things and have therefore come out of the arch of safety. When your mind is gone astray you have left yourself open for the enemy. The mind is the battlefield and that is where people who do that loose the battle. Being blessed sometimes is just Gods way of saying I know you still need to see where I am and what I think of you. (Grace and Mercy) Yes God knows everything that we need but we have to ask for salvation and confess when we have done wrong. You need life for that and dead people don't have it. God doesn't just forgive you, if that was the case why did you get saved and start living right in the first place? This is where people who live raggedy lives mess it up for the people who are watching us. They think they can get away with whatever and God will just let it go, because he really doen't want to send people to hell. But!!! He doesn't send you. You send yourself. Grace is the Age we are living in. Longsuffering from God. We are saved by grace but you have to look at Acts 2. God would not say repent and be baptised if you didn't really have to do it. What is the blood for if remission of sins is just because of Grace. Sorry I can't go with you on that. |
