EdB, Your story doesn't even come close to what is written in God's Word. |

Inmyheart At least not with what you think the Bible says. I mistakenly thought you would understand and appreciate the truths in that story, I evidently was very wrong. please forgive me for telling it. I truly pray what you believe is never tested, but if somewhere in the future it is, and it fails you, please try to remember God did NOT let you down what you believed to be the truth did. From your attitude I can tell nothing I can do or tell you will open your eyes to the truth. God bless and I pray God’s best in your life. EdB |

3 | Is God's will prosperity/healing always? | Rom 8:28 | inmyheart | 68417 | ||
EdB, Thanks, and I mean this in a positive way, my understanding is mutual. God has and never will let me down. We serve the One True God, He has bought me with a price, His Son Jesus, my Savior, given me a purpose and a distiny. God rewards our faith by providing that which we believe Him for. So many times Jesus has made statements such as "according to thy faith be it unto thee" and "Thy faith has made thee whole." He has made answered prayer conditional upon faith (Mark 11:22-24; James 1:5-7; 5:14-16) and doing His works (John 14:12). God in His sovereignty has decided that He will only reward those who will believe Him. Anyone who does not believe makes God a liar and that person cannot expect to receive from God (1 John 5:10). The Bible is full of example of those who limit God from working in their lives due to unbelief (Num. 13-14; Matt. 13:58; 17:20; Heb. 3-4). It has nothing to do with God's sovereign will to bless or not bless. God, in His sovereignty, has decided to respond to FAITH and will do so because He is Holy. This does not make Him man's servant as the critics want to imply. He still requires our obedience (which is what faith is), our worship, and our reverence. Word-Faith, by no means, has delegated the Almighty One to the level of a servant. Instead, we have recognized Him as our Father with whom we obey. God bless |

Inmyheart Notice the RED Notice to Viewers below. This thread is has been filtered because Lockman has found this defense of WOF deception distasteful. I will not respond to you anymore on this thread. While you might not think you have made God subservient to your will, that is in fact what you and all Word of Faith has done. By saying God is obligated or must, actually asserts your will over His. By praying your will instead of Thy will be done you have taken the position that you know best what should and must be done. By claiming God must perform to a stated set of circumstances you have limited God. None of these things are possible with the God I serve. Yes God is a rewarder of faith. And it is by faith we must approach God, and faith is pleasing to God. It is faith in God, that is being talked about. Not the faith that God will do what we have faith in. The God I serve has blessed me beyond measure, healed me of many things, and has given me the opportunity to serve him. He has preserved my family, blessed me with children and grandchildren. He has given me a wonderful and beautiful wife. Had me born to God fearing parent that loved and nurtured me in the way of the Lord. I didn’t have to have faith for any of these I only had to have Faith the in the God that said He would make all things work to my good because I loved Him and He has called me to His purpose. If you can’t see the difference between, having faith to trust God in all His ways and believing because of your Faith God has too do as you desire, you are truly blind. I pray your belief is never tested because when it is and it fails I fear what you will be left with. I have seen it oh to many times. Also notice you again define and defend WOF should we meet again in another thread please be honest enough not to express your feinted surprised at being a called a WOF God’s mercy upon you. EdB |
