1 | Can one who commits suicide be saved? | Ex 20:13 | FisH | 3664
That is just my point, brother. Rom. 1 There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Your right and then go to chapter 8 there is nothing that can separate us from His love. Nothing! You are mistaken your self brother. Your are confused when you mix all these verse to gether from the old and New Testament that have nothing at all to do with each other and the subjest being discussed. I not being harsh but us scripture in its context only. Do not use verse to prove a point out of there context. Make sure you know what they mean where they are before you use them somewhere else. Again I am not trying to be mean at all. I just want to help. |

3 | Can one who commits suicide be saved? | Ex 20:13 | FisH | 3713
No my man, I'm not saying that the Old and New Testament aren't in agreement when they are talking about the same subject. Remember though the New Testament fulfills the Old Testament. The Bible is not one book but 66 books unified to proclaim the progessive revelation of God. Please, don't put words in my notes that are not there. I said nothing about obsolete. However, the Bible is a book of many, many subject. One needs to be careful that one uses the Word of God in it's context. Not pull verse from all over the Bible stick them together and think they always relate because they do not. Some of the verses you wrote down had nothing to do with the subject at hand. That's all I'm saying. 2 Tim. 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth". We are to handle God's Word with care. An example might be much of the Old Testament was written to the Jews Not to the Church. let me illustrate, read Lev. say the first six chapters. Is that for us? No, it was for Israel. Although there is much we can learn about God, His grace, love, compassion, etc. We are not to apply to the church today, Leviticus. Just trying to help I really don't want to argue the point. You may not understand what I'm trying to say. That's cool bro, life will go on. 'INHISMIGHTYGRIPOFGRACE' FisH |
