1 | Mark 16:16 what does it say? | Bible general Archive 1 | RAVEN | 51110 | ||
Hello Joe!, You wrote,"The Holy Spirit works through His word" That is what I have been trying to say! I also have been trying to say that the other verses I quoted in my last post work hand in hand with John 3:16 and Eph 2:8-9 and all other scripture. No scripture can be set aside or catagorized into a different doctrine. The bible must all fit together. Now please tell me are you saying then that God literaly chooses certain people and others He destins to burn in Hell? Please read again the verses in the previous post before giving an answer. RAVEN: You wrote: "Now please tell me are you saying then that God literaly chooses certain people and others He destins to burn in Hell?" I think it is clear from the body of my "work" here that I firmly believe only those whom God chooses will be rescued from the hell we all deserve. Only they will be enabled to believe in Jesus Christ and come to Christ. Those who follow John 3:16 are those whom God has regenerated. Whoever will call on the Lord will be saved. But who are those who will call on the Lord? Again, these verses have been treated from both my perspective and yours on this forum. Look up the notes on the verses you cited and post to them rather than turning this into an even longer thread, please! :) --Joe! |
