1 | What if you don't obey that command? | Rom 6:4 | inmyheart | 56675
Yes, you are probably right, however, there are also many people, still being baptized, this same hour, in this century. The point my friend is that even if a person waits days, weeks, months or years, they 'are' justified and righteous, because the Father calls them so. Can they still be saved? yes, The Father says yes, in John 3:16. I don't believe I am presenting a compromise here, because it's not for me to judge, whether a person is baptized immediately or sometime in the future. Everyone is responsible for their own salvation, as spoken of in Philippians 2:12. Baptism is an act of obedience, not an threat of seperation. God Bless |

2 | What if you don't obey that command? | Rom 6:4 | The Bible is Right | 56684
I think this was an example to us, an putting it off can only hurt, today people are affraid to even mention baptism in water for fear of what other may say about them. I think the bible is very clear on the subject of water baptism, and the fact that it was done immediately, brings more light to it's importance in the role of salvation. That's all for now.
