Bible Note: Hi EdB, I guess that did come across kind of strong, sorry about that but the way you took it isn’t exactly what I meant! You stated, “Your right this is the Antichrist but it is still God’s vengeance allowing the Antichrist to afflict a world controlled by sin.” I don’t see it as God’s vengeance. Now how do we go about proving our points? Is God’s wrath evil or Good, from what you are affirming, with connection to this period of time in question? Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. If this period, call the tribulation, is from God then is the great flood that destroyed the earth, which was an act of God, not taken into consideration? I am saying that it will be the greatest attack of satanic effect and influence that believers will ever see and it is not the vengeance of God because believers will not suffer God's wrath. The next thing that usually comes up is that Christ was only talking to the Jews, but what about the same thing taught in II Thes buy Paul to the church. 2 Thes. 2:3-5 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? If believers aren’t going to be here for this evil action why does Paul waste his breath teaching it and telling us not to let anyone deceive us?? I know you and Tim have many people that you have quoted from and they also use to say that 150,000 thousand Frenchmen couldn’t be wrong too, but they were! Next, CDBJ |
