Subject: How do I make sense of the context? |
Bible Note: Dear Brother Ed, As the great evangelist C.H. Spurgeon once said: "Calvinism is just a nickname for biblical theology." :-) Seriously though. I do not give a fig for anything anyone says unless they can back it up with scripture. And that includes Calvin, the Pope, Spurgeon or anyone else you may care to name! A friendly word of caution: The mormans are trapped in a pagan cult and if God does not bestow His grace upon them they will perish along with all other idol worshipping people. The fact that they use the name Jesus means nothing! The fact that they are zealous means Nothing! The fact that they do good works and by human standards are "good" people means nothing! What it does mean is that they are blind, deaf and dead in their trespasses and sins. If you can't see that, I don't know what else to say. John |
