Bible Note: Joe Your answer fails to explain how Mormons that are not elected can come to what they understand to be salvation (forgiveness of sin). Joe stop calling me names. If I lied it was unintentional, nor have I intentionally bore a false witness. From my perspective everything I have said was true. Now if I misquoted you, mistakenly inferred something that was not true please forgive me. I did it in ignorance not malice. Now will you step out of your malice and stop calling me names? Now before we change the direction again. Once more slowly explain to me in the light of Calvinism (I'm truly sorry if that offends you but that is what we are discussing). How a non elect Mormon can realize he is dead in sin, seek forgiveness, understand to some degree that Jesus paid the price for his sin and then depend on Jesus for forgiveness. I don’t think you can because while Calvinism (again excuse the term) is close to defining the state of man, the condition of spirit, and salvation it still misses the mark. I have repeatedly said if either Calvinism or Arminianism was the correct answer it would become obvious to all that were truly seeking the truth and there would be no more debate. I contend and will until I die that Salvation is a mystery of which God has chosen not to reveal all aspects of. What we do here is argue my idea is righter (forgive the word) than you idea. Which as many have said and I agree to is absurd. EdB |
