Greetings Teacher! Is baptism something done? If so, then by definition, it is a work! :-) Scripturally speaking, there is nothing wrong with works, except for trusting in them for salvation! p.s. - I cited you many more verses than just Eph. 2:8-9, but even that one would be enough to show that we cannot do anything for salvation. Greetings Teacher! There are two answers to this question: 1) Objectively, 2000 years ago, when He died upon the cross. 2) Subjectively, at the moment of belief. As soon as we call on the Lord, we are saved and from that moment on, nothing we do or don't do can ever make us more or less saved. Salvation is complete in Christ.
