Henri, All we can go on in this matter is what the Bible has to say about it. For any sin to be forgiven us we have to have come, first, to Christ in faith. If we reject the Holy Spirit we have rejected Christ and by, our choice, we are damned. Speaking now, from my own understanding of the verses in Luke, it appears that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is eternally unpardonable. If there is an exception I haven't discovered it yet. I hope that someone who knows more than me is reading our 'posts' and can lend their understanding to this question. I wish I could say that it might be a forgivable sin however, the verses seem to be unequivocal in their language. in Christ, dennis |

Dennis, FYI, again you are responding to Teacher, not me. Why do you both continue to address your posts to me when you are responding to each other? However, you are correct in your statement that the verses are unequivocal on this point. It is unpardonable simply because God said so. He didn't explain why, nor did he need too. Henri |
