Bible Note: Greetings John! I have noticed that no one ever responds to the Scriptures that I cite when this issue is discussed. :-( Allow me to limit the number of quotes to a comparsion of just two verses. Rom. 7:14 says, "We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin." But, Rom. 6:5 says, "For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin" How can both be true at the same time?
