I have no religion, as many would define it, simply because I do not view Christianity as a religion, but a way of life, a movement, a progression toward Christ. I choose to be a disciple of Christ rather than attach myself to rules and regulations established by man, concerning my faith and the daily carrying out of God's will in my life, as determined by Him through faith in His son, Jesus Christ and enacted by the presence of the Holy Spirit. In saying that, I do recognize that there are those to whom I am to submit for guidance and direction. But they are approved men and women of God, identifiable by their service to the Lord and supported by the direction of His Word and the guidance of His Holy Spirit.

I'm a late thirties married father of three children who God so graciously permitted me to father.

My wife of 19 plus years and myself have dedicated ourselves to living our lives for Christ, since in humility, He offered up His for ours. Our children have been dedicated to our Lord and our hope is that they too will dedicate their lives, on their own account, to Christ when called.

My personal opinion is that we owe our lives to Christ because after all, we were purchased for a price out of love, that price was His suffering and death on the cross so that by faith, we may be reconciled with the One True God. In doing so, we can and should live with the hope of serving Him presently and eternally when He returns for those who are of Him. We do this by obeying Him and His Word without compromise or rationalization.
