Bible Note: Greetings Doc! It is good to hear from you my friend. My family and I have been sick, so I haven't been quite as active on the forum over the last couple of weeks. Further, my oldest daughter is expecting twins this coming Thursday. :-) This will make four grandchildren. :-() I too have been studying a lot from Romans lately. I have been preaching through the book during our Sunday morning services. It has been an interesting study. Though, I have had to take a break now with the Lenten season being upon us. :-) Now, the notion of 'sinless perfection' is a fun study since everyone means something differently when they speak of it. When I first came into association with the Church of the Nazarenes, I did a lot of reading about this issue. Wesley did not use it much, or at least he did not prefer it. He liked the term 'perfect love' better. That would be a fun study for some time. Well, I have to go get some groceries. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
