NASB | Romans 1:21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:21 For even though they knew God [as the Creator], they did not honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened. |
Bible Question: In light of what the Bible says about homosexuality, can a homosexual be a follower of Christ and continue to engage in homosexual acts? Please cite Scripture and give reasons for your answer. Thanks. --Hank |
Bible Answer: Hank: Greetings from the fine state above yours. I am not attempting to answer your question, but have a question for you. On the Bible Answer Man last week the founder of Exodus Ministry was Hanks guest. The question was asked what happens when a homosexual who confesses his or her, sin and repents and sometime later stumbles, and repents? Are they truely saved? That was the question asked on the radio. Their answer was that most do fall off the wagon. But they are encouraged to repent and confess 1 John 1:9. I my self think this is a question I do not have solid answers for. I do look at David and see some aspects of his life I find almost humanly unforgiveable, yet God said "he is a man after my heart". Could you please give me your opinion? Thank you and God Bless. justme |
