Bible Question:
Anyone care to dialogue about known and unknown tongues? You see, I have a hard time receiving the "initail evidence" of being Baptised in the Spirit. I have prayed years for it. I have had many friends and family pray I get it. I've even had scores of children praying for me. I believe the Gifts of the Spirit are STILL in fine working order and Not a ONE has disappeard since the canon. I assume some of my frineds in here are going to address this quickly. I do hope to get some thought provoked in all of US....... ...Lord dont let me convolute the story... *SHALOM* |
Bible Answer: Hello discipled. i am baptised and filled with the Holy Ghost and the proof is speaking in tongues. i have also layed hands on people and they have recieved the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the fact being they Spoke in tongues as well. The fact being God is not a Respector of persons nor a liar nor will HE put you down for not being able to recieve. the truth is how bad do you want it???? and are you prepared to do what he asks when you are baptised (clothed) and speak in tongues, (filled). the one point or Fact is . The Holy Spirit is spread around from direct contact with God or a man that has been or is in His presence (contageous). So get with a man who knows God and Works in signs and wonders in the Holy Ghost. Desire to know God with all that is within you. And God will freely Give all things to you. bless you. 1 tim 4:14 does your church practise the laying of hands for impartation of the Gifts and also prophesy? if not find one that lines up biblicly. bless you. |
