Subject: When will I speak/pray in tongues? |
Bible Note: it seems to me that you have complicated things to a degree of reason. 4 things destroy faith; Fear ,Doubt,Reason and Anxiety.God is simple. There is two types of tongues, Personal and ministerial.LOL i just made that one up. but it is the tongues that you stand up in church, just like prophesy and give out loud.that is the one you need an interpretor for. To edify the Body of Christ.the Personal one edifies you. You see, satan is after our authority and Jesus has Given it back through Himself. this comes by relationship and spending time in His presence.John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: that word power means authority. when the authority comes, you firstly gain the authority of your own soul then you gain it over your realm of influence as in what satan has stolen, then you gain it over others. like casting devils out etc.He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. the Key is to ask and go with what just comes, and believe. just like the disciples when Jesus said follow me and i will make you fishers of men. It is the still small (spontanious thought) voice.Oh i should ask have you accepted Jesus into your heart to be Lord? Bless you.. |
