Bible Note: Greetings Greg! I look forward to your reply my friend! As to your list, allow me to give a 'catch-all' response since there are some many verses with some many different contexts. The New Testament does teach 'saved by grace'. The consistent message is that we cannot 'earn' salvation by our works. Yet, the New Testament is also clear that those who are 'saved by grace' will produce good works because they are saved. Eph. 2:8-10 makes this clear, as does Gal. 5. Now, we can look at individual verses if you would like, but first I would like to hear your response to Heb. 8-10. It seems perfectly clear from these chapters that the Old Covenant has indeed been replaced and is no longer in effect for Christians. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
