Bible Note: Hi Emmaus, Do you notice how the PHD talks about what was going on in Ezekiel's mind and Ezekiel's interpretation: "I propose that v. 23 sums up Ezekiel's synthetic interpretation of this D-material; that is, the covenant curses in Deut 27-28 state that when Israel breaks the covenant, they will be scattered (28:64, scattered , hiphil of putz)." However, Ezekiel 20:2-3 states: "2 Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying, 3 Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD;" Clearly there is no room for interpretation as a prophet speaks what he is told to speak. Sometimes I believe these PHDs are more like modern-day witch doctors throwing around fancy words to mystify an audience. They are "Ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth." Please note there is also a consistency between Ezekiel 20:25 when compared with 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11, "...because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause GOD SHALL SEND them STRONG DELUSION (statues that were not good), that they should believe a lie: 12 That they ALL might BE DAMNED who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (without Torah)."
