1 | kw5kw, do u worship God WHEN u repent? | Rom 7:19 | Hank | 169493
kw5kw: Have you ever heard of a calendar? The seventh day is the sabbath, and it falls on the Saturday of every week. Sunday is the first day of the week. You asked Kalos whether he was serious. Yes, I do believe he was. After reading your posts, however, I'm given to doubt not only your seriousness but your qualifications to post on this Forum, the idea for which is the exchange of Bible questions and Bible answers. When seasoned users of the Forum begin to tell you that your posts aren't making sense, it's high time to open your ears and pay attention. --Hank

Oh Russ my friend. You have inspired me. You said “The truth is that Sunday being the first day of the week is man made.” I would say that you are totally and utterly, dead wrong. There is not, and never has been a command in the Bible to keep holy any day other than the Sabbath, the day we call Saturday. The seven day week was NOT man made. It was GOD made. The Jews (those people that stood on Mount Sinai) have kept only Saturday holy for thousands of years. That’s all I have to say… for now Ocelot |

Here are a couple of corrections to my last post. It would really help if I got everything right the first time. The place I said “The seven day week was NOT man made.” What I should have said was “Sunday being the first day of the week was NOT man made. Also where I said “There is not, and never has been a command in the Bible to keep holy any day other than the Sabbath, the day we call Saturday” Should have “…keep holy any day OF THE WEEK…” in it. I’m sure you all knew what I meant :-) Ocelot |
