1 | When will I speak/pray in tongues? | Acts 2:6 | The Disciple | 27870 | ||
KALOS, wheweeeeeeeeee.......what a grand observation..!! BRAVO! Your statement about experience and no experience being the view one has on doctrnine. When the Bible inteprets, defines, clarifies, shows itself to be dogmatic about a doctrine. IT ISNT OPEN TO our VIEW, or is it ? -our - is defined - children of God, not the non-believer. I dont think the LORD wants our opinion on HIS choice of standard. He just wants us to make a choice. Doctrinal issues should be only those that are essential to our salvation, any other things should should be given liberty. Agustine, says it best, "In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In All things, charity." Prov14:15, 15:28; 1Pet3:15; Ps119:46 Another favorite quote I enjoy.... If the literal sense makes common sense, seek no other sense or you get nonsense. Personally, I would only be dogmatic on doctrines that are eternal. Temporal doctrines will pass... ...Lord dont let me convolute your story... *SHALOM* |
