Bible Note: Simchat How was you vacation? Refreshing I trust. As to your question. Please explain your convoluted logic here, “ it isn't in the Bible so...” “Automobiles” isn't in the Bible yet millions exist. Trinity isn't in the Bible your right, but the Trinity is clearly demonstrated in the Bible. Kabbalah however is neither mentioned nor demonstrated in the Bible. However that fact alone does not invalidate Kabbalah, that is done by the Bible itself. Col. 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Galatians 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As whether this is a Study Bible or a Christian Study Bible there is no difference. The Old Testament foretold of Jesus and the New reports His fulfillment of what the Old Testament foretold. The whole Bible is about Jesus. Therefore the answer has to be, this is a Christian Study Bible. If you want to study vain philosophies then I guess you could have an interest in Kabbalah but that seems to be such a waste of time since we have the truth before us. To study anything other than Christ of the Bible would be nonsense, since Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. EdB |
