Bible Note: Greetings Simchat! Rev. 22:1 doesn't say that the river is the tree of life. Rev. 22:2 says that there are trees of life on either side of the river. Interestingly, why does the Tree of Life theory only include 10 fruit, when Rev. 22:2 says that the Tree of Life has 12 fruit? Regardless, the best you have produced so far are simply verses which mention words which are found in the Tree of LIfe theory. What you have not produced are any Biblical verses which teach that: 1) That we need to asend the tree of life to acheive knowledge of and union with God. 2) That there are in fact 10 immanations from God. In contast to the Kabbalah, where one must work to acheive union with God and knowledge of Him, the New Testament teachs us that Jesus is the full revelation of God to man. Further, that it is only through faith in Him that we can be saved. The Kabbalah seems to me to simply be a Jewish version of Greek gnosticism, which the New Testament refutes time and again.
