Bible Note: Simchat Torah: OK, let me ask again in the most direct manner possible. And I would deeply appreciate it if you would answer in kind, confining your answers to the specific questions. [a] Do you believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone? [b] Is it your belief that the redemptive work that Jesus accomplished on the cross constitutes our sole means of salvation? [c] Do you accept and trust Jesus Christ and Him alone as your Lord and Savior? [d] Would you call yourself a Christian? ..... I do not mean to put you through an uncomfortable or embarrassing inquisition, my friend, but in light of some of the questions and issues that have been raised by several posts, yours and others, I do feel these questions are not entirely out of line. But of course you are at liberty to answer or ignore them, precisely as you wish. --Hank |
