Bible Note: John I think what Bubba has done was to take the pieces of Judaism and Christianity that he agreed with put them together in a very logical way and got a finished product that sounded good, tasted good, felt good, looked good, smelt good, however it wasn’t the complete and unadulterated word of God. When we take the Word of God and try to form something that appeals to our sense knowledge we quickly reveal what is taking precedent in our life. We have allowed our flesh to rule where our spirit should. John as you know this is common today within Christianity, too many are taking the pieces of God they like or agree with and placing them together to form what they want to worship. While most if not all of what they say is birthed in truth omitting any portion of God to form another is idolatry. Bubba is not worshipping God but rather the statues, precepts, laws, traditions, commands, festivals and customs God set down to give His people direction. While they are all most excellent they are to be in subjection to God not elevated to his level. EdB |
