Bible Note: Darktanianxx Frankly neither you nor I know Satan's motives, the Bible does not tell us. We see pride and we know of his rebellion but Satan’s final goal is not revealed. Satan is an intelligent creation, one that knows and understands the spirit realm far better than any of us. I do not believe Satan is stupid enough to believe he can destroy God. Satan may believe he can destroy what God has created but to destroy God would be out of the question. Satan is still in submission to God as we see in Job, Satan responds to God’s questions. Satan neither wise cracks nor refuses to answer but from what appears to be submission he responds to God’s question. I think Satan knows exactly where he falls in the scheme of things, he understands he must submit to God and that while he still has time he can mess with God’s creation. What he believes to be his ultimate goal is unknown to man. EdB |
