Bible Note: Darktanianxx Why does Satan fight against God - we are told it is his pride that he wants his throne above God's. Why does he kill God's people - First he only does what God allows that is clearly seen in Job. Now to the question why. I suspect he wants people to worship him rather than God. I can't prove that but in Satan's temptation of Jesus that was what he desired Jesus to do. Why doesn't Satan repent, he can't he had no savior to die for him. Your right I don't understand all of Satan's motives but I do know killing God can't be one since it is impossible to kill God. I truly hope you don't feel to foolish, because I never once used any double talk. I never took you to task on your belief or understanding of salvation, I never inferred supernatural wisdom, I never took you for a grand tour of the Bible I simply answered your questions with scripture and asked that we reason together. I know that what you believe you think it the truth but unless you can sustain it with scripture I think you need to reexamine your position. This has nothing to do with your salvation, or your understanding of salvation, it has everything to do with how you have been taught. I suspect you have been taught by a person that when they didn't understand something developed a feasible but unscriptural doctrine. EdB |
