Bible Note: Darktanianxx What I going to say is going to seem like I’m coming down on you. I pray I say it humbly and that you will receive as I feel lead to write it. Again I’m not your adversary, I’m a servant like you. Brother that scripture 1 Cor 2:8 says a lot. I think you are inferring it is talking of Satan when in fact it is talking of Pharisees, scribes, Kings and Roman counsels. Scripture out of context becomes pretext. If you hear nothing else I have said tonight please learn this insure you know the context of scripture before you apply it. Brother I pray you receive this as I mean it to be received and not as put down. The fact that you experienced three cults should reveal something to you. A willingness to accept statements that aren’t fully based on the scripture. I don’t know for sure where you got some of the teaching you have used tonight, I have a general idea. While they are close they have problems, they degrade God, elevate Satan and they ignore Bible teaching to the contrary. I did not say that to insult or to put you down. I really am trying to help you see the truth. I think you may feel challenged and I did not mean for that to happen. I was trying to show you that where ever you picked up the teaching that Satan is out to kill God it is not a dogmatic fact. It may in fact be Satan’s plan but there is nothing that proves that from a scriptural point of view. I also know there are some men, that hold the view Satan is trying to kill God. However there are far more respected men that feel this teaching is false and that they are false teachers. In fact these false teachers have a whole story made up of how Satan was doing this and that and God was being stopped on all fronts. He almost tricked Satan with Abraham but Satan caught on at the last moment. Finally God slipped Jesus past Satan and Satan got tricked and killed Jesus. Nonsense! EdB |
