AMPLIFIED 2015 | Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered and reflected on My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God [with reverence] and abstains from and turns away from evil [because he honors God]." |
Subject: a righteous man |
Bible Note: steve, read 42:6.....Job says "Therefore I loath my words, and abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes."........ God was angry at Eliphaz because he did not repent for his words!.."I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has." Job was trusting in his own righteousness and God allowed him to be chastened. I stand by what I have previously written. Grace to you! :) |
